I am a dreamer.

 

One of my most poignant childhood memories is watching Doris Day singing "Secret Love" in the movie, "Calamity Jane."  Her warm smile and beautiful voice touched me in such a way that I determined, then and there, I wanted to sing and act also. 

 

I grew up to become an actress with credits that include four Tony Award winning Broadway shows; starring roles on all of the major broadcast networks (and streaming too); as well as roles in feature films. It's all documented here, so have a look around. 

 

I'm also a wife and a mother. As someone who's never had parents or a stable family life, I took my responsibilities of these two roles seriously, which meant shifting my priorities. I can proudly say that I have been married to the same great guy for 30 years and am the mother of an out-spoken, well-adjusted 27 year-old son, who is presently an aspiring film writer/director.

 

And through it all, I've learned to love and discovered my true strengths: an open heart, the willingness to share a wealth of life experience; a curious mind eager to learn new things; and an optimistic attitude, fortified by a sincere desire to impact the lives of others in a positive way.
